Champs Hill is situated between the A29 and the B2138 on Waltham Park Road.
From Pulborough
Drive south along A29 (London Road) towards Arundel.
After 2 miles you reach the village of Coldwaltham.
Continue on the A29, past the Saxon church on your right.
You will then see a cross roads sign. Turn right (signposted Fittleworth) onto Waltham Park Road.
The Pines is 25 yards up on the right-hand side.
The Sand Quarry is 30 yards up on the right-hand side (just past The Pines).
Champs Hill is 400 yards up on the right-hand side.
From A27 Arundel / Fontwell
From Fontwell, turn off the A27 onto the A29 north towards Bury and Pulborough.
From Arundel, turn off the A27 onto the A284, which after 4 miles joins the A29 at Bury Hill roundabout / Whiteways Café Roundabout.
From Bury Hill / Whiteways roundabout, continue north along A29 to Pulborough.
You will pass The Squire & Horse Pub on your right (at the bottom of Bury Hill).
Stay on A29 towards Pulborough (road bears right), through the village of Watersfield.
You will pass Lodge Hill Centre on your left.
You will then see a cross roads sign. Turn left (signposted Fittleworth) onto Waltham Park Road.
The Pines is 25 yards up on the right-hand side.
The Sand Quarry is 30 yards up on the right-hand side (just past The Pines).
Champs Hill is 400 yards up on the right-hand side.

Pulborough Station is approximately 3 miles away. If you require transport from the station to Champs Hill, please pre-book a taxi.
- Parking
There is ample parking at Champs Hill, free of charge.
Disabled (blue badge) parking is available.
The Champs Hill grounds are covered by CCTV. However, parking is at the owners risk.
- Access
Disabled Parking – there is disabled (blue badge) parking available.
Disabled access is available to the Music Room for concerts and art exhibitions. The Music Room is on the ground level, with one step at the main entrance – ramp available.
There is access to the formal gardens. However, the woodland is uneven and steep in places, and not accessible.
Disabled toilets available.

No dogs, except Guide Dogs.
- Photography
Photography is at the Trustees discretion; please check first. Photographs must not be used for sale or reproduction without prior permission.
- Concert Etiquette – Making the Most of Your Visit
We want everyone to enjoy their experience at Champs Hill and appreciate that people listen to music in different ways. Some may simply wish to relax and enjoy the performance, while others listen more intently to the finer details. Whatever your approach, we ask that you are considerate of those around you.
To help everyone enjoy the concert, we kindly ask you to observe the following:
- Please switch off mobile phones and other devices before the performance begins and refrain from using them during the concert.
- Please avoid talking during the performance, even quietly, as this can be distracting to those around you.
- Please try to minimise unnecessary movement, including excessive fidgeting or searching through bags.
- If you are feeling unwell or have a persistent cough, please consider whether attending the concert is appropriate. If you do attend, please bring water with you and, where possible, use cough sweets that can be opened quietly.
- Please be mindful when opening cough sweets or other items. Foil-backed packets can be particularly noisy, so you may wish to transfer one or two sweets to a small container or something more discreet before the concert.
- If you arrive after the performance has begun, you may be asked to wait outside the Music Room until a suitable break. This may be at the end of a piece, although where appropriate we may be able to seat you between movements.
- Children aged 12 and over with a genuine interest in music are welcome, provided they are accompanied by an adult and are able to attend without disturbing the enjoyment of other concertgoers.
We kindly ask all guests to follow these guidelines so that everyone can enjoy their visit. In exceptional circumstances, where a visitor’s behaviour may significantly affect the enjoyment, comfort or safety of others, we reserve the right to refuse admission or ask a visitor to leave the Music Room.
We appreciate your consideration and hope these simple guidelines help to ensure that everyone can enjoy the music and the experience of attending a concert at Champs Hill.

- Covid-19 Update

Champs Hill continue to ensure that procedures are in line with current government guidelines, so please do check our website, and this page before your visit for the latest information.
In accordance with the latest government guidance, we will no longer be enforcing the use of face coverings - you are, of course, welcome to wear a face covering if you wish to and we encourage audience members to be respectful of each other.
We will continue to offer hand sanitising facilities and a supply of face masks near the entrance.
Please do not attend if you believe you may be infected with COVID-19, have recently experienced symptoms, or been in close proximity to anyone who has COVID-19.
